William Optics 90mm, F6.9, (621mm) mostly used with a WO Type III 0.8 flattener/reducer. On top of the WO90 a William Optics 66SD serves as guiding scope but it is also used as an imaging scope for wide(r ) field images.
CCD camera's: Atik 314L monchrome for imaging and an Atik 16IC for guiding. An Atik electronic filterwheel is fitted with Astronimik LRGBHa type 2 filters. Camera's and efw are controlled from a notebook with Artemis Capture and PHD for guiding. The 314L/WO90 combo yields a 1 degree field of view @F5.5 with 2.65 arseconds per pixel. This is ok for wide field imaging and the average seeing conditions in the Netherlands.
The Vixen GPDX equatorial mount has been doing service for ten years. It is controlled by a Skysensor 2000PC (v2.05) and driven by reliable MT-2 stepper motors. The 16IC guiderport is connected to the SS2K guiderport with a shoe string cable converter. PEC and backlash compensation on the SS2K are disabled to alow autoguiding.
The rigid construction and attachment of the telescopes and the relative short focal lenght make flexure in most sessions a non issue.
All planning is done with Skymap 11
